How to Change Your ISP on WayaVPN

Each time you connect to WayaVPN, you're assigned a unique residential IP from the ISP and country you selected during signup. These IPs rotate automatically every 10–30 minutes — a standard behavior for residential networks — keeping your activity natural and consistent.

Follow these steps to change your ISP manually:

  1. Log in to your WayaVPN account

2.Click on your active VPN service

WayaVPNService

3. Scroll to the management section and select a new ISP from the dropdown menu

 4. Click the "Update Location" button

After updating your ISP:

  • Windows & Android users: Disconnect and reconnect in the app

  • OpenVPN users: Reconnect using your config or restart your router

  • Router setups: Reboot the device

Your VPN connection will now switch to the newly selected ISP.

Auto-Reverts & Midnight Optimization

Sometimes after:

  • A plan renewal

  • A service maintenance cycle (which occurs around midnight)

Your ISP may reset to your original default (i.e., your base location at registration). If this happens, you can simply follow the same steps above to switch back — or contact us to set a new default ISP for your account.
